When precipitation is a given, but you want to keep your street-style on point, the Revit Mosca 2 H2O gloves are prepared for the task at hand. Based on the popular Mosca 2 ventilated summer gloves, they offer CE-level 1 protection, but instead of airflow, these gloves come with wind and waterproofing properties provided by the hydratex waterproof* liner that is now laminated to the inner lining. That not only amps up the comfort level for hands in the rain, but its fit is also streamlined in the process.
The Mosca 2 H2O motorcycle gloves are perfectly suited for spring, summer, and fall riding conditions, and if you’re riding in the city, they could also be suitable for winter use. Rev'it was able to make them so versatile because of a mosaic of materials used including: 4-way stretch, corduroy, goatskin, and microfiber.
A full leather palm for extra grip and structure, stretch lips at the fingers for freedom in dexterity, and a newly developed Seesoft 3D knuckle work together in keeping hands protected. Furthermore, the OrthoLite® foam incorporated at the fingers and palm that has a better open-cell structure that also offers increased impact protection while keeping the comfort level at a maximum.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
