A waterproof, 25 litre backpack with a utility-style look, Night Eye fabric, and P.A.L.S. to expand baggage capacity.
This multi utility backpack features panels of Night Eye – fabric that reflects light back to its source – are fitted on all sides to increase visibility when it really matters, without making you look like a traffic sign all the time.
The main compartment of the Macna MUBP-1 backpack can be fully zipped open to gain easy access to its contents without having to fumble around blindly. Elastic pockets are fitted at the back and sides of the main compartment. When closing the main compartment, you’ll find a waterproof pocket with a roll top closure.
Two pockets are fitted on one side – one with a mesh pocket and one with P.A.L.S. webbing – and another, larger pocket on the other side. This larger pocket features P.A.L.S. on the outside and a pocket for a drinking bottle, which can be enlarged by opening the zip in the middle. The final pocket is located at the bottom and closed by two buckles in addition to the zip. It is fitted with water outlets at the sides so that excess water coming from wet gear stored in there can make its way out.
This backpack enables expansion of baggage capacity through the Pouch Attachment Ladder System, P.A.L.S. in short. This is webbing of 25 x 38 mm that enables suitable pouches to be added to a load-bearing platform such as a garment, backpack, or base plate.
Macna opted for 3D mesh at the carrier straps and back side to provide breathability and comfort. For longer rides, the back side is also fitted with a hydration port to enable drinking from a hydration bladder stored in the backpack, and the carrier straps feature a front closure that can be adjusted. Long story short; the ideal backpack for weekend trips.
