The security knob from Ram Mounts consists of a security button with 1/4-20 female thread and a key button. The security knob replaces all wing nuts on the 1" diameter B size arms and mounts. It offers the ideal size to properly secure the desired lever effect on your mount and to prevent slippage, even in harsh conditions or extreme vibrations.
The lock and key button is randomly supplied with one of the 5 different key designs, so it is a coincidence that another user can unlock your RAM mount with his key button.
