Rambler is a classic leather shoe that is specially designed for motorcyclists. This shoe has all the important features that a modern motorcycle shoe requires. The combination of genuine cowhide and added XTM-Fiber ® membrane (fiber technology made from Aramid fibers, Coolmax® and Lycra®) gives this shoe its high functionality and the respective protection under extreme conditions. So the Rambler from John Doe offers extra protection against wear on normal leather motorcycle boots. Another feature is the John Doe Thirstoint protection, which provides extra reinforcement at the ankle, heel and front. Leather "switch protection" protects the shoe adequately and provides extra grip when moving the motorcycle.
The Rambler motorcycle shoes also have a "water-stop function" (such as trekking and hiking shoes). That is, the tongue is designed to prevent water from seeping into the shoe. The 'easy access' to the boat via the zipper allows the rider to quickly and easily pull the shoe on and off. An oil-resistant, vibration-absorbing non-slip sole is also standard on our John Doe motorcycle boots.
