A 2-layer jacket with a unique, utility-style look for all kinds of riders in all riding conditions, including rain.
The Higera motorcycle jacket is part of Macna's utility family and features a 2-layer construction with a mesh liner and detachable Raintex ML thermal liner*, making it suitable for nearly all conditions, all year round. Softshell is used for its wind-blocking capabilities and the detachable liner is attached through Easy Cuff™ construction, which makes use of a small zip instead of loops and snaps. This prevents loose, floating layers inside your jacket.
The chest and upper arms are fitted with Air Pockets™ and an air outlet is present at the back. Ventilation is easily created along the entire length of the jacket with the Macna Summer Comfort System Lite™. Open the main zip and attach it to the second zip possibility to reveal mesh fabric alongside the main zip.
At the back Macna used fabric covered with microscopic dishes that reflect light back to its source. Night Eye™ makes you better visible when it really matters without making you look like a road worker or traffic sign. The back is also fitted with a Coat Hanger™ that is developed to carry the weight of the jacket, and Belt Loop™ to prevent the jacket from creeping up.
RISC™ level 1 impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows and are easily accessible via the Quick Pockets™. Other fast differentiators are the Quick Access Puller™ and the Quixnap™, which let you open the inner chest pocket easily and close snaps with nothing more than two fingers. The Higera motorcycle jacket is also prepared for a back protector insert, sold separately.

* A waterproof membrane does not mean unlimited waterproof. The waterproofness depends on the quality of the membrane. Are you looking for 100% waterproof? Then select motorcycle jacket with a GoreTex membrane.

Motorcycle gear comes in various levels of waterproofness, which is important for comfort and safety during wet rides. Most waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and footwear have a membrane that prevents water from penetrating the outer layer. These products keep you dry, but there's a limit to how much they can penetrate. A waterproof membrane doesn't mean 100% waterproof. With prolonged exposure to rain or under high pressure, the outer layer can still let moisture through. This means you could get wet after longer rides in heavy rain, especially in areas where the fabric moves intensively or where seams are less well-protected.
Looking for 100% waterproof? Then choose a product with a Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is a specially designed membrane that is both waterproof and breathable. The membrane contains microscopic pores that are too small for water droplets to penetrate, but large enough to allow water vapor (sweat) to escape. This keeps rain and spray out, while your body heat and moisture are wicking away. You will ride dry and comfortable, even in prolonged or heavy rain.
In short: regular waterproof motorcycle clothing keeps out short(er) rainshowers, while Gore-Tex effectively protects against prolonged rain and at the same time provides breathable comfort.
